  As Youth Day approaches, we're embracing the creative spirit of the youth. We're inviting aspiring South African foodies aged 18 and under to submit unique dinner-time and nostalgic recipes that resonate with their experiences. 

  How to enter: Submit your unique, self-created dinner recipes or recipes that hold nostalgic significance from your childhood on the submission form below. Our expert in-house chefs will review your submissions and select the top 3 winning recipes. Winners will be announced on 3 April 2024 via UCOOK's social media channels and website.  

What's up for grabs: The 3 winning recipes will each be prepared
by UCOOK's chefs and will be featured on our Youth Day 2024 menu. Each winning dish will be named after the respective winner, who will be credited as a chef on the recipe. The 3 winners will also receive a UCOOK voucher worth R2500 to spend on UCOOK Meals, Craft, or Market goods along with a UCOOK hamper!

Competition only open to South Africans aged 18 and under. Entries close on the 20 March 2024 and 3 winners will be selected by our in-house chefs and announced via our social media channels by 03 April 2024. If winners cannot be contacted within 5 working days, prizes will be forfeited and a new winner will be selected. Vouchers will be valid for 3 years. Parental consent will be requested before any personal information regarding winners is published on any UCOOK channel. UCOOK will not use any entrants personal information without their consent, and will only make use of this information if they are drawn as winners, based on parental consent given.
